I've been waiting far too long to feel the sun on my back...
It's raining. I'm at work. Clearly I'm working hard, since I'm blogging.
All I want to do is go home, get some more coffee, listen to Santi, and write. I love Santi. It's by far the best TAI... CD. This morning on the way to work, I listened to it for about the zillionth time, and realized that today, every emotion I'm feeling can be found in one song or another. It's almost enough to make you think that William Beckett is secretly watching an advanced videotape of my life and has written songs specifically geared toward reaching me at this very moment. I've been having a lot of those crazy theories about people watching me ever since reading "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb. It made me a little paranoid. I wouldn't advise reading it. Definitely skip it in favor of "I Know This Much Is True."
Anyway, I should probably get back to work.
"It's been a lifetime, a lifetime we've waited for.
A simple question, kid, are you with me or not at all?
Are we wasting time, or is it wasting us.
It's been a lifetime waiting for now."
