What is this? They're making a Thundercats movie!!!!! Yes, it's true. Come 2010, you will be able to enjoy the antics of Lion-O, Panthro, and Tygra on the big screen! If you want to check out a fan made trailer starring Brad Pitt, Vin Diesel, Gigi Edgely and Hugh Jackman on Just Jared. Enjoy!

John Hardy is a Genius!
Look at how pretty this stuff is! I especially love these 3 pieces. And the item descriptions are amazing. They give a brief glimpse into the life of the kind of person who would own these pieces. Here is an example, as found on ruelala.com:
"She soaked in a Tequila Sunrise, and its glow soon warmed her skin, right down to the blossoming silver that clinked her glass."
You got it, that was for the ring, as seen above. Now let's take a look at another one.
"She has a passion for travel, and these earrings take her from St. Lucia's enticing blue surf to St. Moritz's icy white slopes."
Didn't that make you want to buy those earrings? I know I wanted them!
Here is the description for the bracelet, featured below:
"The gondola slipped through the water, but she was too enraptured with her new jewelry to notice the lovely village scenery. "
Of course, on sale this stuff is still more than I make in a few weeks, but it's beautiful :)

Also
Two more things:
1. I would highly recommend that you read "The Myth of Me and You." A good friend lent it to me, and I absolutely LOVED it! It was a compelling storyline, with an incredible twist. My only complaint is that it ended too soon.
2. After having seen many people wearing elbow length gloves, I'm actually considering getting myself a pair. They look so warm!
The End.

A Thing of Beauty
If I had a million dollars, I would buy this:
Ok, so it's not a million dollars, but it costs more than my NYC rent. Need I say, it's more expensive than I can afford. This is the David Yurman 18K & Silver Renaissance Collection Necklace. It is amazing!! I love it.
Now if only I can find an estate manager in England to marry me, so I can actually afford to buy it :)

Work work work
I know, I know, it's been nearly a month since the last time I updated this blog. I've been trying really hard to get around to it, and there's really no excuse, but I'll say this: I've been working a TON! Not only have I had two sample sales in the last week, but I've been working on several personal projects, one of which is for a good friend. Go check out her jewelry here.
The other project is a lot more time consuming and, quite honestly, a lot harder. Yes, that's right, I'm looking for a literary agent for my novel.
Ok, so I may be a little ahead of myself, since my novel isn't exactly finished or anything, but the daunting task of actually sitting down to write every day would be a lot easier if I actually knew that something would come of it. So I keep procrastinating, sitting down to write only to get distracted by the fact that my room needs to be cleaned, my best NYC friend wants to hang out, and that I don't really understand a single sentence on the newest Panic at the Disco CD, so why do I really like it so much anyway?
It's not like this research will only help in one area...I mean, eventually I would like to get back into the book publishing field. Someday I may even open my own literary agency. So really, the information I'm gleaning is doubly useful...yeah, that's what I keep telling myself.
So instead of posting another poem on my other blog today, I'm going to sit down in my teeny, tiny little room with a cup of coffee and make it past 50,000 words on my manuscript. That's my goal. And if you see me out and about before I'm done, you have my permission to "slap my face off my face" (a quote I've picked up from a crazy fun coworker).
When I'm done, I'm going to see THE LIFE, a musical put on at City College of New York. Tell you how it is tomorrow :)
